NATIONAL REFERENCE LABORATORY IN THE FIELD OF BUILDINGS AND PUBLIC WORKS operates in Senegal.
The National Reference Laboratory in the field of Building and Public Works (LNR- BTP) has the vocation of a scientific and technical organization whose mission is to define and promote development and research programs on materials, prevent risks, regulate and control testing and study laboratories in order to guarantee the exercise of healthy and fair competition between them. It ensures the quality and contributes to the safety of infrastructures and equipment.
This regulation and control mission aims to serve as a technical reference in the field of the profession, to guarantee the good quality of execution of works and supplies in the field of construction, to conduct studies, expertise and experiments of a public utility nature, to provide technical support to the project management of specific State projects, to contribute to the development of training and capacity building in the construction sector, and to settle disputes in the field.
